If you ever want to have a strong chance of bringing a bottle that will win a "best of tasting" vote, I suggest you bring Beringer's Private Reserve. Year in and year out it is blended from Beringer's best barrels, and well managed complexity in blending is what premium bottlings are all about. The near-perfect balance that this bottling is known for is on display again in 2002; this is wine that could be in consideratin for best-of-vintage in Napa in 2002. $75; 93+ points

Totally agree Steven I had two 375 ml of these and need to get some more which is how I saw your posting while searching for a good price. This is simply a great bottle of wine, hit my sweet spot. Rich chocolate and the right amount of smokiness, long finish that makes you want to savor it yet drink some more. Probably can hold up to aging for 5-10 but as of a month or two ago was drinking beautifully.
