This Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc was my first taste of a wine from the 2008 vintage (worldwide). The acids aren't as sky-high as they've been in the past and the result is fleshier tropical fruit on the mid-palate -- papaya, guava, and a grassy finish. $23; 89 points
