Michael brought this AMON-Ra bottling to Eric's down-under tasting; it was the first time I've tried it (and the first time I've seen a winemaker promoted so prominently on a label that doesn't bear his name). This wine is still young, and it has a mysterious future ahead of it -- it is overripe, with a sugary characteristic that reminds me of Amarone. Odd as it is, it works, it's very satisfying and drinks nicely. $75; 92 points

First of all is this area nice? is there much water or is it in drought? is it a bit too bogan and "country" to live rather than visit like the hunter valley in NSW is?
How far is it from adelaide and are there many nursing jobs locally?
