2003 Tintara Shiraz McLaren Vale

Mark Westlake brought this bottle of Tintara to Eric's down-under tasting.   It shows fleshy layers of ripe dark red fruit that meshes seamlessly with the vanilla that oozes out of the American oak cooperage.   This is an above-average Shiraz that would never be mistaken for anything else.  $35; 90 points
