Adam Lee was on hand pouring a few of his Siduri bottlings at K&L in Redwood City. Siduri farms by the acre (instead of buying fruit by the ton), which gives them the ability to make more pruning decisions and decisions about how much fruit to drop. The winery is a warehouse in Santa Rosa.
Siduri has been purchasing fruit from the area since 1995 (the first three years were pretty bad vintages overall). This Oregon bottling shows all red fruit, with some Oregon earth, needs a lot more time. $28; 88 points
