Vincent Girardin "Les Bressandes" 1er Cru 1999 Beaune

Marissa and I opened this at Le Zinc, our favorite place to eat French bistro food and relax...    I purchased this wine at the Wine Club in San Francisco many years ago, for $30.    The wine was so far gone it tasted like a rubber tire -- I have no idea where the problem started or what caused it (probably a bloom of bacteria and bugs).
