We enjoyed this bottle at Cafe Beaujolais in Mendocino, which is one of the better restaurants in the area. Maranet is the second label of DuMOL; the fruit that goes into the Maranet is from younger vineyards whose fruit will go into the regular DuMOL bottling if and when it improves as the vines age.
In the meantime, these wines are a steal vs. their pricey first-label peers (the same is true for better known second labels, like those in Bordeaux).
Maranet shows bright red fruit: red cherry, raspberry, and a little blueberry, with a low oak profile.
$30; 89 points
Bottom Line: Good value for money and it will be fun to blind taste Maranet and DuMOL side-by-side...

How do I purchase Maranet? We had it at a resturant and loved it. We live in San Diego CA.
