Naveran is another in the long line of "can't miss Cavas".
This Blanc de Blancs is simpler than its peers in France and America -- but it's less than half the price... It's bouquet shows faint lemon rind and vanilla scents that, when the wine is on the palate, end up less-citric and creamier -- with a short finish that has a minerality (if not the crispness) that is typically associated with Brut sparkling wines.
After Dave Morgan and I enjoyed a glass of this cava we plowed straight through 21 Spanish Reds, and finished the night with the Grand-Daddy of Tequila in the Herradura line, (he's holding it in the picture, and it's sold in a case that's fit for a sheik). So these pictures show our first, and last, sips of a memorable evening of wine tasting! Thanks Dave!

Bottom Line: It has a great QPR ratio, and sets your palate up for a nice meal, or a line of 21 Spanish Reds...
