The first stop on our day tour of the Russian River Valley was at J, which is best known for their sparkling wine.
Their baseline sparkler, the Brut, has a pleasant yeastiness and shows some soft caramel and honey notes.
$25; 88 points
Bottom Line: Good value, and a nice sparkler for a party where you want good wine but don't want to spend a fortune.
