The ladies running the tasting bar at Iron Horse were very kind to our group and opened up some of the really expensive stuff for us -- the "Q" is their best pinot (it stands for "Quality").
Pictured here, from left to right are: Scot McLernon, Norm Page, Chris Marrow, Matt Arkin, David Greenwald, John Durham, Rich Johnson, and me.
"Q" is very soft and controlled, like a Grand Cru (it costs as much as a Grand Cru), showing cherry and dark berries and traces of smoke and earth that are truly Burgundian.
$70; 92 points
Bottom Line: This is a special occassion wine that I would love to throw into a high-end Burgundy tasting.

I believe "Q" may actually stand for the location from which the grapes used to make the wine were picked...as in block Q. Although I agree that "Q" definitely stands for Quality as well.
If you get a chance to taste some Thomas Road Pinot, jump on it!
